The Rubicon Moulding Mask© has been developed to reduce the signs of ageing without the use of surgery.
This cosmetic procedure involves a surgeon applying the formula to the patient�s face, which is then covered with small strips of silk and moulded to the contours of the face. This mask is left on for 32-38 hours and during this time, the patient should refrain from speaking (as much as possible) in order to keep the facial muscles inert. After the initial dressings are removed, the skin is cleansed and antiseptic powder and cream are applied.
This procedure is replaced periodically over the next few days. The patient can either remain within the confines of the clinic, or they may go home, depending upon their preference. However, all patients, whether at home or in the hospital, must only drink liquidised foods and should continue to speak as little as possible, until the completion of the treatment. This is to ensure that once again, the muscles of the face are not used whilst the treatment is still taking effect. On the seventh day the patient will stop the powder and the cream and apply liquid paraffin six times a day until the mask comes off naturally, usually on the tenth day. If after the tenth day the mask has not come off naturally, a cream and cotton wool mask is applied and stays on for 8-12 hours. After the treatment the patient�s face and skin will look rejuvenated.
